The Digital Carrier interchanges with the negative mask of your traditional minilab and using either your lab's light source or the high luminance LED light of it's own it exposes the paper in your printer by projecting the digital image on it making it possible to print digital photographs on your traditional minilab. You can switch back to traditional printing anytime.
Why you need one?
To keep up with your competition who are probably already printing digital. Digital minilabs, even used, cost a lot of money. Much more than for how much you can get a D-carrier and start printing immediately on your classic and trusted minilab rather than throwing it out or trying to sell it for months. Plus if you are planning to sell your optical minilab you can highly increase it's value and make it more attractive for possible buyers by adding a digital mask to it... |
